Happy Easter! With a new season upon us, it is a great time to be a part of the Red Run family. In addition to all of the recent updates to the club and in welcoming our new COO, Joe Marini, we are also excited to announce the construction of an awesome outdoor dining and entertainment area. This area will enhance the pool as well as our 18th Green complex. Whether you are spending the day at the pool or just finishing your round on the 18th Green, there will be a variety of mouth-watering foods for you to choose from as well as a cocktail waiting for you at the new bar.
The trend in the food industry today is casual, outdoor dining. There is nothing better than spending time with family and friends at the club enjoying an unbelievable meal out in the fresh air. We have seen the tremendous growth in the use of our pool area over the past four years. Food and beverage sales from our current Tiki bar have increased from $30,000 in 2014 to over $100,000 in 2017. This new Phase 1 addition will enhance the food and beverage operation at the club, provide better service and create the desired food and beverage experience that you desire while continuing our ability to grow sales.
The activity and utilization of the pool has increased over the past several years from the age demographics of new members joining as well as more families using the club. We struggle today with seating capacity. It is not that we dont have enough chairs, it is that we dont have enough space for the additional chairs needed based on our current activity levels.
This project is being broken down into three phases. We will start work on Phase 1 beginning April 2018. Phases 2 and 3 will be done in the future considering membership levels, activity and the financial health of the club.
Phase 1 - Construction of a new free-standing outdoor bar that will offer an unbelievable selection of beverages and will seat 28 members while providing entertainment from four TVs. A new satellite kitchen will replace the old caddie house in the existing pool building that will provide an amazing selection of food choices with a level of service desired for 5+ months of outdoor casual dining. A passageway will be constructed which will lead you from the new casual seating area with a fire pit to the bar without having to go through the enclosed pool area.
Phase 2 Roof top dining will be added to enhance the view of the pool as well as the 18th green allowing you to have a relaxing outdoor meal and refreshment. The pool deck will be expanded to make room for more seating and cabanas will be added to provide a shady spot to relax poolside.
Phase 3 A new activity area where children as well as adults can have fun. This area will allow parents to remain poolside while still being able to observe their children playing.
