December 1, 2017 Dues & Annual Fees Increase
Dear Fellow Red Run Members, November 22, 2017
Over the past few months, the Finance Committee along with Club Management has been working endlessly to complete a budget for the new fiscal year which began October 1, 2017. I would like to personally thank all who are involved in this very tedious process.
During this process, Wally Sierakowski (Interim General Manager) and Kristi Kahl (Controller) meet with all department heads in the Club to review not only operating expenditures but also the listing out and prioritization of expected capital needs. With the oversight of the Finance Committee, the budget is then developed with certain assumptions. When complete, it is formally presented to the Finance Committee for review and comments. Once approved, it is then sent to the Board of Directors for their review and eventual approval.
The Board, Finance Committee and Club Management strongly believe that it is our duty to continue to offer the highest level of service to the membership of Red Run Golf Club. In order to do so sometimes comes at a cost. The 2017-2018 operating budget calls for a 2-3% increase in payroll costs, rising utility rates and increases for repairs and maintenance.
It is the opinion of the Finance Committee with Board concurrence that dues be increased by $10 per month for Stock members and proportionately across the member classes. Bag storage and Clubhouse maintenance fee will both increase $25 this fiscal year.
The dues increase will be effective December 1, 2017. The new dues structure will be as follows:
Stockholding $615
Junior & Intermediate $307 or Tiered Program
House $275
Life ½ Dues $307
Non-Resident Stock $307
Life after 1988 $307
Associate $275
Pre-Life $615
Clergy $250
Life & Non-Golf Life $738 annually ($61.50/mth)
Junior and Intermediate Tiered Program
Age 21-24 $270
Age 25-29 $325
Age 30-32 $375
Age 33-34 $475
The Board and management strive to offer the best service possible for the existing membership and to attract new members while continuing to operate the Club with sound conservative financial principles. As always, the patronage of the current membership is extremely important. We look forward to another great year in the long history of Red Run Golf Club and appreciate your support.
